Hasn't happened to me since my original problem...still I come to the same conclusion:

So magically the problem solved itself here’s what I did.

so the problem starts when you shut the car off in D. The ! Keeps blinking and it says fob not detected. When you try and lock it there is a beeping sound for as long as you are touching the door handle to lock it.

Here’s what I did for a few days I drove around like this trying to find answers then finally I turned truck off in D again and the operation of the locks and everything went back to normal. I tried this a couple of times before to no avail but this time it worked. Hope this helps someone down the road!

    You are a legend.

I got my truck back from a shop and had this exact symptom... hours of searching before I finally found your post. $12 in cr2032s... and lots of stress...

    BUT I found your post!

there is one screw above the seatbelt that must be removed... then pop that panel and drop it down the belt... that gave me enough wiggle room to get in and plug the module back in.

if you hadn’t updated, I’d be sad.
    Thanks!

Mine started doing the same thing where the fob(s) are not recognized. Replaced battery in both fobs.
Here is the strange part, if I disconnect the battery and reconnect it after a few minutes both fobs are recognized and no issues for days while parked until I drive the truck then it refuses to see the key fobs. Disconnecting the battery, reconnecting solves the issue until I drive again.

Anyone had seen this before ? Clearly the sensor is still connected and recognizes the fobs.
