    Not on mine, the top to L/H-R/H panels are stainless fiberlocks, but the forward and aft sections are attached with "fastener blocks" (molded plastic w/ threaded inserts.) Hence the low 5Nm torque value.

    i was mainly curious about the panel being raised but if yours is also than im ok with it. did yours come with the latches you can open from inside? i was under the impression that all new ones came with those. mine came with the old style latches...

    Yes, my latches open from the inside. Came in handy when the rear latches kept getting harder to open/close on the road. Turns out off road fine dust gets in there. Hosing down inside the mechanism thoroughly with silicone spray as a flush returned them to normal.
