@fatfurious2 yeah after looking into them and watching YouTube videos, seems smarter to but the cheap China ones vs a fancy name brand. Maybe i might build my own but who knows.

Not a diesel heater, it’s a forced hot air heater that puts the exhaust outside and clean dry hot air goes into the living space. Any others like that will do the same. Little buddy and the like isn’t so the exhaust with all its water vapor is the heat.

I built my own a couple years ago. It was easy to go down the hole of "upgraded parts". I sold it back then, but now looking into them again. The main thing that I am looking for is an all-in-one unit but with a bluetooth app . The controllers are hit or miss, where the app at least can be decent. I havent bought one yet. I still really dislike winter camping haha

New Update. Took a trip to home depot over the weekend and got some 1inch think R6 insulation foam boards. i forgot to take picture as i was doing the job, first photo is all i had the rest of them are after its done. I'm thinking of trying to fill in any other areas i can, maybe the full back window and two sections to the right and left of the rear window.

I would like to keep the two side gull wing doors as free and clear as If i can, maybe if i can think of a semi permanent way to add some to the tailgate door. We will see!

Also, i have a diesel heater ordered and on the way. i heard of Lone Peak campers and they have a diesel heater port i can add to the side of my shell. Might look into doing that for a side accesspic1 shell.jpg pic1 shell.jpg pic 2 shell.jpg pic 3 shell.jpg pic 4.jpg pic 5.jpg port for the heater.
