    Hello,

I wanted to start this thread to open up discussion on the pros/cons of a Smartcap vs. RLD Design vs. Alu-Cab topper for a Tacoma. I recently got rid of a Leer 100XR topper and definitely want to get something other than a fiberglass topper. I particularly did not like the weight of the Leer fiberglass topper and the painted/clear coat surface being an additional maintenance area of my truck. I also looked into a GFC Topper and a GFC Camper. The GFC Topper looks like another great option but being from Pennsylvania, the shipping/travel costs to get a GFC are quite hefty. I also am having a hard time convincing myself that I would use a GFC Camper more than just a few times a year. Any advice on which of the three toppers to go with would be greatly appreciated.
