Just got this email from my boss. I guess this is one of those things that they really don't tell everyone about. Really sweet deal. I am planning on purchasing one really soon. If anyone is looking for a new gun this is a good opportunity. Below is the email from S&W. If you don't believe then give them a call.

    Dear Glen,

Smith & Wesson is offering a 40% discount off the MSRP price for all of our
revolvers, pistols and rifles for our active duty and retired servicemen.
Attached you will find the revised Military Purchase form for your
    convenience.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Regards,

I sent Helene an email as their web site doesn't list the MSRP on all the weapons.

I had some other questions as well, like can I use it on a Class II purchase.

    I'll let you know.

Does retired military specifically mean those that have put in 20 years, or just that one has served? One of my cousins is active military, one of them served 4 years and then was honorably discharged (I'm assuming anyway). This wouldn't apply to the 2nd one then?

Usually a retired military did over 20 or was retired for medical or other reasons.

Having served, which is honorable, isn't enough for this offer, I believe.

    Email Helene and ask.

    Subject: Retired Military Buy

I am interested in the 40% off for retired military on an AR platform.

On your site you don't list prices, "See dealer for pricing".

How would I know what the price would be to submit the paperwork?

Should I find a dealer and get the cost then submit the forms?

Can I use this to purchase a Class III weapon from you?

A lot of questions I know, but I wanted to get the right weapon for this purchase.

    Thank you for your response.
