    So ....i installed my rtt the brackets seemed to bend before my bolts snugged up.
    They are snug now but im left with all
    Anyone else have the same experience?
    Are these guna break 1st trail run?

    My Tuff Stuff tent has the same bracket setup holding it to the rack, they bent a little just like this. Have had them on for almost a year and many wheeling trips/overnight camping with no issues.

    Just check the nuts every so often to make sure they aren't coming loose, but don't over tighten them and snap the thing

    My tuff stuff tent did the same thing. For what it's worth, my tent hasn't moved in the time I've had it.

    I bought rubber pads to raise the tent 1/2" that I put between the tent and bar which compressed and helped keep things in place without having to torque the bolts down as hard.

    Literally just installed mine yesterday and hit the beach with it shortly after. My brackets look the same way. It's plenty tight.
