    Take it from me, you don't need a winch until you need it. I've had seven 4WD vehicles over 35 years, a M38A1 military jeep, a 1973 Jeep CJ-5 with a Smittybilt, and five Toyota pickups without a winch, and my current 2017 TRD OR with the Smittybilt X2O. Twice with my Toyota pickups that did not have a winch I was winched out of a hairy situation, I winched out numerous nutjobs with my CJ-5, and I've winched out one Jeep Wrangler with my 17 Tacoma two days after installation. In fact, I'll go up to the Sandias each winter and winch out nutjobs in their 2WD cars and trucks for up to $100, or less if they are desperate, often for free. One guy I winched out twice, then did it again for 20 bucks. I figure this winter to make my money back on the winch purchase. People get desperate with a car full of kids wanting to go sledding.

    good note! autoanything does have it in stock, another option for sure. I'd personally prefer to book via 4wd or auto anything as opposed to discountbandit directly although it looks like others haven't had any problems with them
