    That nose up picture would have been so much better with the new skid in place, but it showed up the day after this trip. If you'll look closely you'll see that the stock skid is held on with a ratchet strap. :D

    And swaybar delete!

    The goodies just keep coming in. This is an adapter that allows you to hardwire the Hero3 gopro. The battery life sucks on the new cameras, but not anymore. :D

    Stay tuned for the waterproof housing build incorporating this adapter.

    Well, the batteries won't even last long enough to record the full two and a half hours that the memory card will hold.

    The place that I bought the adapter from has setups that will let you record for several days, so I don't think there will be an issue.

    two main heat sources in your average cameras are typically the screen and the battery (moreso the screen). with this new toy, the gopro will not have either of those things.

    The handle has exposed "cups" on both sides, and it's installed per spec, so no. The handle when attached will be inside the front rubber bumpers, so that's where it's going to live.

    They were not. Colin welded them up on his front porch for me. It wasn't a strength issue, but definitely an area for future corrosion.

    I just need to figure out where to stow the handle while it's not attached. I do have covers for the ends so the contacts will not be exposed.

    Received a new accessory for the truck today. This is a japanese limb saw made by Silky with a 14.5" blade. These make quick work of limbs and small trees. :D

    I installed the new trailer brake controller last night. Fortunately I have the tow package on the truck so the wiring was already there. This was basically a plug and play operation.

    Quick disconnect holder for the controller.
