Did you think about covering the undersides with some panels of sorts? That thing would be a bitch to clean mud out from around the Jobox I would think

No plans for the underside. There will be side panels though. We'll see how dirty it gets.

That's what I meant was along the Jobox. I'd hate to have to clean around all those corners of the bed

Yup, I welded in tabs with nuts before paint, but ran out of time to cut and drill the panels. I'll take care of that after this trip.

Truck looks really nice! Great job on the flatbed. That's the nicest flatbed I've seen on a Tacoma so far. Any plans on running longer shocks with all the extra space you have now? And how much would you say that bed weighs? Any idea how it compares to the factory bed?

    Thanks :humble:

The rear end is going to get a significant makeover soon. The new bed is about 100lbs more than the stock bed. The toolbox adds another 200lbs as well.

Had a great day out at superlift with Mark. The trails were extremely slippery today, which made the trails all that more challenging. Not too many pictures, but here's what I got.

I have question for you what made you go with airflow snorkel over the other one?

    nice pictures btw.

I like the looks of the airflow over the safari. The airflow was supposed to fit better than the safari as well, but I still had to massage it into place. Oh, there isn't a restrictive flat tube under the fender like the safari, so that's a plus.

Plenty of clearance! The rear suspension is the next item on the to do list. Shock hoops, longer shocks, shackle flip, and expo leafs.

The flip kit should be at my office when I get back. It's time to take some measurements and see how long of a shock I need. Well, first I need to ditch the dakars and get some expos. The dakars with the extra leaf can't cope with the new bed.

Any ideas what you bumper weighs? I'm guesstimating that I'm 350lbs over stock in the rear. I wonder if all pro would add a leaf or two for me. The idea of spending a grand on a custom alcan leaf pack isn't sitting too well with me.

    Pushing the back end down?

    Thanks

    Appreciate it.
