Just a small group for Amy's birthday.

I wish it had only been my brakes imploding. :(

On a happier note, my new kings will show up early next week.

And we had some pretty awesome tunes in the way back too!!! Though my gf and I were disappointed that the truckers weren't very entertaining.

I should've brought oversized band aids for your truck ouches..

It's amazing how a seemingly small task turns into an all day event. Yesterday I pulled the mangled leafs and built a set of bump stop extensions. Managed to strip out a ubolt, but I have spares, so I was able to put everything back together.

My next step will be to build a new traction bar.

    Here are the new bumps.

    And the mangled leafs.

Search your local area for either maker space or hacker space. They seem to be popping up everywhere.

Get the rear Kings in yet? Also, how'd the length of the new brake lines work out now that you have some trail time on them?

    Look back a page. :D

I went with 10" over stock brake lines, and that length works just fine on the trails.

Thanks for the brake line info. I'll make a note of that for later :)

I have a few things to finish before I start cutting off the stock shock mounts. The traction bar comes first, then I'll start on the shocks.

Those are some gnarly shocks man! Interested to see how you get them mounted and set up. Any numbers on articulation or flex from full stuff to full droop? Keep up the good work.
