Did you have any problems running stock sport wheels and 35's?

Not at all. The sport wheels did great, even when aired down to 12psi. The only reason I switched was to go to a wheel with less back spacing.

What size spacer did you use? I have the BAMF kit and idk if my rear 1.25" spacers will be enough to clear sport wheels and 35's

I ran the same 1.25" spacers. I still rubbed the frame a bit up front though.

I'm guessing you'll be fine with the BAMF kit. If not there are always 1.75" spacers. :D

And if you're going to get a new set of wheels to solve the problem go with a 16". That way you can get down to a 3.5" back spacing.

Thanks. What all did you cut out/take out from the front to help clear? I've done my CMC far back enough I think

Just the typical stuff. Cab mount, beat the pinch weld back flat, and trimmed 3" out of the fenders. Can't escape trimming the fenders.

    Quick question!
Insurance is cutting me a check to fix my taco and I'll be going flatbed as well finally.
You have my intrigued with the 63 swap and the beds gonna be off so I figure its the best time to do it.

Any recommendations that you'd do if you could do it over again? It's all pretty simple with a bit of.welding right?

Gonna go ahead and cut my frame after the stock shackles as well.

And I remember you running procomp 6" lift shocks for a little while as well... Did those match the travel numbers that are recommended for the kit ?

    1. Buy the ruffstuff swap kit
    2. Find a set of stock chevy 63 leafs out of the junkyard. The softride leafs have a bit more droop, but twist way too easily.
    3. The bushings in the ruffstuff kit won't fit the leafs, so hit up the parts store for new bushings once you get the bolts and leafs.
    4. Find the right length billstein shock. You'll have to put the kit in and then measure to find your lengths.
    5. The bamf towers may or may not have enough height. You'll probably build your own mounts.
    6. Don't go cutting your frame till you test everything out. The rear mounts will be further back than the stockers.
    7. Measure twice cut once. :D

    Good luck!
