I did manage to lift a tire on Golden Crack, but I did take a harder (more angled) line through it.

I think I seen someone else on here try that but I'm not sure how that worked out.

Unfortunately that won't work. The front leaf hanger is forward of the stock mount and the rear is further back from stock. You're ahead of the game as you've already cut the rivets out on the rear hanger though.

I would have to move the front hanger cause the rear is about as far back as it can go before smashing the bumper brackets.
I took a really solid look at your detailed post and it would make no sense for me at this time or even in the future. I would need to rip apart what already is a setup that is at it limits in leaf and shock travel.

As cool of an idea it is, just not worth it. When the leafs finally go flat ill just look to get another set made. Im hoping I can at least get the topper and everything else on before that happens.

Guess that depends on how often they are loaded up and flexed. I have been told that now that im flipped and extended that the leafs are taking more abuse. I haven't validated that claim but regardless I have almost 50k on these Deavers

Yea, not a big fan of starting over. I think im good with what I have and I think it would do great in Moab now. At least for the trails I want to do.

With the right line and a locker you'll do just fine. The extra flex allows the tires to stay on the ground longer allowing the locker to stay off. Less chance of breaking axle with the locker off.

I'm going to stay with what I got also. There is no need to start over right now. We need to hit Moab next year or '18

Yes you do. The amount and variety of trails out there is staggering.

    Agreed 100%
Im getting 11.5" of my 12" Kings. The extended/flipped shackles perform so well with this combo and I have room to add weight.
The front and rear are at maximum potential without going LT and to the extreme.

Discussions like this cure the mod bug with rational thinking. Thanks man.

There's a time and a place for rational thinking every once in a while. Now go cut off your IFS and go tons. :D

It can be done with a bit of brake modulation, but a rear locker goes a long way. I did not lock the front the entire week.

People were able to do a lot open/open in moab from what i was told. Like it was stated earlier, line and finesse are a big part. Mashing petals only get you so far.
That rear locker, even if its an elocker are really nice though. I feel spoiled after trading my sport for an OR.
