smog question

    NC, for now
    Vehicle:
    '08 2.7, 4x4, access cab
    rmvd 2ndary air filter, memphis audio speakers,lce header, mobil1 full syn engoil(factory filter), afe pro dry s drop in,
    getting ready to buy an LC header for my 2.7, also moving to TX, the rep on the phone said i should check into the emmisions laws there for inspections, anybody know if i will have any issues passing an insp?? he said CA would def not pass but not sure about TX i looked into it but couldnt really find any good answers. kinda sounds like it wouldnt pass.:confused:

    Really depends if you live in a smog check county. Like Harris, Montgomery, Dallas. And there's more.

    appreciate it, even if its a smog check county do you think i would have a problem, i mean im only replacing the header. i might still get it anyway and just swap it out with the original when gettin inspected

    If you live in a smog check county they will put a sniffer in your exhaust tip and I believe you would not pass. If they dont put a sniffer in it and your check engine light is not on then you should be good. I believe. I never modded headers or such while I was in TX.
