I didn't know the Colombians require a smog check.

CPS-65 I’m good for some, but I’m not for everyone.

Does it have a CARB EO number? If not, and the tech sees it or it shows up, he will flag it. If you pull it, make sure you do it a bit ahead of time, if it creates any type of reset in the ECU, that has to be, I think, a certain amount of miles old or it flags. You might go and talk to a smog guy to get an expert opinion on how and if it will create a problem and how to side step it. The guy I have used has tested my old rig off the reporting system to check out something for me.
Any fail also reports up to the state and is recorded on CARFAX, which can affect resale. Multiple fails can cause the state to declare the vehicle a “gross polluter” which can create some additional problems.
That being said, I ran a pretty aggressive tune on my last truck and when I built a new engine for it, it had some non smog internals along with some EO numbered stuff. It ran cleaner than it did stock with no electronic flags and no externals that were problematic.
Basically, you want to know if it will pass visual inspection and the electronic feel-up. I doubt the Commander will change the emissions as they are taken at a steady RPM.

If it's not seen, you will pass just fine. Pedal commander does nothing to the ECU.

Also the smog test will not have a sniffer portion as you are newer that a model year 2000

Yeah you don't have to worry about a sniff test unless your vehicle is older than 2000. Just a OBDII check for trouble codes and a visual inspection. What they don't see won't hurt you. I've had a non-CARB compliant URD 7th injector kit installed on my truck for 6 years now and have passed smog with it 3 times. They just don't know it's there. Or maybe they do and don't care, who knows. I always go to the same guy though just to be safe lol.

Again, the pedal commander does nothing to the ECU so as long as you don't have a check engine light you will be fine

if you are so worried, simply unplug it and remove it from the vehicle. Technically its not tampering with any emissions components or modifying the ecu so even if it was seen on a visual it wouldn't fail you (if that tech knows the bounds of his inspection)

With OBDII no sniff is correct, but, they are now looking for third party tunes (which in your case is not) via scan so be sure you don't have or at least put back to stock and do the drive thing prior to having it checked.
