Hi everyone so I’m going to be replacing my headlight assemblies soon and I was hoping for a smoked or black housing assembly that is still oem style. Not any projectors or any of that. Any recommendations?

+1 for the oem trd’s. I bought a set, it’s a light smoke. One bolt is hard to get to.

    Too few to list.
Probably talking about the one underneath the bumper in each side. I just go underneath and just fold back the splash guard to get to it. I think the procedure was to remove the bumper cover.

I’ve got the TRD Pro assemblies as well and recommend them like some of the other users. I’ve heard that anything aftermarket is junk and they don’t last and they tend to leak after a while.

Just got the TRD pro’s myself on a 12 mgm with the headlight upgrade, this is the only way to go.

Anything more smoked/blackout would be too dark imo

I have smoked DEPO aftermarket for like $50/ea because why not

up to $300/ea on an OEM plastic halogen is a bit of a stretch

Yes I had one leak. I failed to seal it. So I returned it then sealed it before install. Threw in a silica gel pack. Hasn’t leaked.
Ran a bead of sealant around where the lens meets the housing on the bench new before install and let cure.

just a couple of things tbh
since nobody posted a pic here ya go. this is my old truck with a set of depo headlights bottom pic. top pic is stock.
i have sense sold that truck a couple years ago and now have this truck with the same headlights.
they leaked one time and got some mold in the top right of the headlight. but for like 150 (when i bought them...) i cant complain tbh now would i buy an oem set of trd pro headlights? ehh maybe? maybe not... i paid a lot for the oem trd grill back in 2015 and it was a lot of money for stupid plastic...

also for those that hate that lower bolt that goes behind the bumper. just cut it off... legit has no issues with it being cut off and doesnt even wobble..

Wow those do look sharp with the magnetic grey. Much appreciated for the post.

I love the look of the morimotos. But the performance of the oem coupled with that look gives me pause. Serious pause. That looks nice!

I love rhe black out eliminate chrome look.

Would putting a tint over the lens give it a further smoky look? Trying to do the same with the tail lights. It appears only alpha rex and spider do blacked out tail rights, correct?

So I've never ran smoked lights other then on my old civic so I had. Personally not a fan of a smoked looked.
