Mine too. I got my truck back a couple years ago from a State motor vehicle inspection, and they had taken it upon themselves to top of the tires to... 42 psi! I had the exact same symptoms the OP reports. Brought it down to 30, and it drove like a dream again.

 

Mine are 33 12 50 r18 load range f

 

Load range "F" W/40PSI on a Tacoma , you couldn't over load them tires on an F-350. I am surprised rough roads with those tires you still have a body on the frame. If I could of found a "C" I would of bought it

Add a 6" lift and 40 psi pressure, and it's bound to be a squirrely ride...

so your bouncing instead of absorbing the shock of bumps and dips? makes sense to me to lower your air pressure,, when a kids ball loses air it doesnt bounce as good. I also would venture to think maybe you little truck is lifted way to high . Anyway it sounds dangerous to me.

 

Yeah I still have my sway bar. What coilovers did you go with?

 

I went with 2.5 king reservoirs all around. I bought them used off here.
And easy to install.

 

Will those mount up with the 6 inch rough country lift?

 

I went with the nitto ridge grapplers I didnt know they were load f until I had them

 

Nittos and Toyos are usually heavier than most other brands. Some DB lift kits use a spacer for about 4" lift on top of the strut and a strut that gives 2 inches of lift to obtain 6". If thats the case you could use a strut that provides no lift and have 4" which is fine too. I still bet tires and better stock height struts would make a world of difference.

I tried fox on this truck and I don't see where they are anything to write home about . I already replaced the rear Foxes for something a little softer ride so that was a waste of money sitting in the garage. I have had Bilstein 5100's on a number of Rams and didn't care for them much either unless set to next to 0 lift which may work for you and are cheap. I would measure what you have mounted and compare to other members to find something compatible. You may want to dig up a few of the threads that are just about Drop Bracket lifts. Their are so many members who just don't like DB lifts that I would recommend searching for some of the threads about Drop Bracket lifts ,maybe by brand and see what people who like this type of lift are doing . Their are many threads. I was just reading one 700 and some pages long about Fabtech so obviously everyone don't dislike DB lifts. I can see the advantages of them

Are you still looking for some coilovers? I just ran across some king 6 in lift brand new ones in California on Craigslist. Only $1,200 that’s a steal! I paid more for mine used.
You could try and see if he would ship them.
