Sharing another option for a tailgate panel. I was on the group buy list for the Bare tailgate panel. Showed my coworker the Bare panel and he told me to check out SNAILARMOR which is local to me. Had never heard of it but looked it up and was able to go pick it up in person to save shipping. Very nice quality and great price. I searched here on TW and no mention of it so I figured I would share. Put it to use this first week having it installed and I’m very happy.

I like that better than the other options. Thanks for sharing! Any problems with fitment? Holes line up properly?

No issues at all with figment, took all of 3-4 minutes to remove the stock panel and install this one. The reveal around it is spot on, can take close up pictures if needed.

That’s pretty sweet. I like they have a custom option.
Would you happen to know how the custom text or images are applied? Is it laser etched in? maybe I’ll just send an email and ask. Looks good at a good price too.

That looks nice. If I hadn't bought the bare I would be happy with this one as well.

It’s laser etched. I actually picked mine up where they laser etch them.

Is it slippery when it’s wet?
The oem plastic is like ice when slightly damp. I put some grip tape on it but the SoCal sun takes a toll on it.

Looks like a long bed, can you fit both bikes in there and close the tailgate?

I haven’t walked on it wet but I’m sure it’s way better then the OEM plastic. It’s powder coated which is textured.

if I angle my bike I can close the tailgate, but I generally just leave the tailgate down and bungee cord my ramp. Nothing slides out because of the rubber mat.

Well it rained here, and the tailgate panel is not slippery.

Sacramento area and the laser etching is done in San Mateo. I picked mine up from San Mateo.

Got one because of the poor quality and fit of the hooke road panel I bought first. The Snailarmor is a quality product!

Not sure if the discount code still works but if you search on YouTube a 3rd party reviewer shares the code in his review video. I've had mine almost 3 years and love it
