This was the last piece of the puzzle for my bed - a Snail Armor tailgate insert which arrived today. My bed is now all done the way I want it...BakFlip G2 cover, BedRug bed mat, OEM bed lights and power tailgate lock, and the Snail Armor insert to give my knees a break and not spill my coffee :)

Great job and all but I don’t understand why buy a truck then if you are going to turn it into a car interior . Isn’t the bed supposed to be used for hauling dirt bikes …gear .. and so on .

Maybe doesn’t need to do all that stuff. For hauling gear/misc that’s a sweet setup

I bought a truck to be able to tow my Goldwing a few times a year with a UHaul trailer. It's not a bike I can fit in the bed, even with a long bed, and the Rav4 wasn't going to tow 2700 lbs plus some riding gear. The BedRug is there for my knees, gives me some cushion when I have to crawl around in it. I don't off-road and it's my daily driver. I could have gotten a 4Runner and accomplished the same purpose but frankly this was cheaper, and once every couple of months I catch myself at Home Depot or a friend's house saying damn it would be nice to have a truck right now. So yea, it's not the manly off-roader, but it does what I need it to do.
EDIT - almost forgot, the net is there so I don't have to chase groceries all over the 6' bed :)

Seems like whatever setup I have it leaks a little from the front corner and through the tailgate.

Not much, just some at the corners of the tailgate, which I kind of expected. Other than that it's basically dry.

Looks great, I did pretty much the same thing but the OEM tonneau and bed mat. I also added the Rock blok to cover the gap between the bed and tailgate and to protect the now exposed metal as well as the Sabellco tailgate lock. I installed the OEM electronic tailgate lock too.
    Love the TRD engraving!
If someone steals my tailgate they’re going to have to work at it. E7FA4A26-CC9C-4D8C-BDF5-3A06C110AC71.jpg433BF482-C70E-49C2-AF84-00E5BCB16DB5.jpg

Bwaaaahahaha, sorry. That one that I installed is attached to both the tailgate and bed as I don’t plan on taking the tailgate off. There’s another one out there that attaches to just the bed allowing you to remove the tailgate without damaging the seal.

    Nahh it's ok, I'm not gonna do it...nope...not me....no more $$.....

Over the weekend I realized I absolutely had to have a TRD shift knob. Amazon, being ever so accommodating about taking my money, had the OEM version with same day shipping free with my Prime membership. That was Sunday morning. By dinner time there was a new shift knob on the truck. It's like a friggin' disease....
