    chances are it was only a black snake. seriously doubt a cottonmouth was in your house, and a copperhead would'a been very distinct. if it is a black snake just catch that thing and take it out. it'll keep mice and other poisonous snakes out. worst that can happen is you get bit by it, clean your bite with peroxide and your fine.

    Don't know if your talking to me or not, but I'm not scared of snakes. Just thought I would share with everyone here.

    And when I said it was the size of a pringles can, I meant the circumference. I didn't see how long it was. I could only see the body as it slid over my hand. But it was every bit of 2 inches in diameter.

    And no I haven't found it yet. I'll post pics of it if I do.
