    Dosen't appear to be a bull snake, it would be a juvenile if it is. What state are you inhabiting ?
    Many years ago, the neighbor came to me because there was a snake under a bed. I went over and sure enough, good size Texas rat snake, I grabbed it and pulled it out. It turned around and latched onto my arm. Lol,she said its biting you, I moved a foot and she took off with speed. Non venomous are hakuna matatta.

    You took that shot? Shoulda grabbed it and released it outside.

    Worst case scenario is a scratch-bite but nothing serious. Heck it may have been friendly and just let you handle it.
