"Hey turtle, hold on let me pull up my leaf blower and help you cool off from the heat."

    [Activates the leaf blower]

It blows turtle off of the window.

    Turtle goes like "WTF?"

"Feel all better now, turtle? I know it's so damn hot outside.."

Turtle runs toward you like mad MF.

You hides behind wife... "Hey wifey, heeeeeeeeeelp meeee! Your suggestion didn't work!"

If it's small like hand size, then you can pick it up by holding the shell... not all the way to bottom like the photo was mentioned above.

If it is huge, then use the protective gloves and grab the sides like the photo.

This actually gives me an idea. Maybe I can get an air bag under it? Set it off, and if I aim properly, I might be able to hit the middle of the reservoir about 2 blocks away.
Of course, if I don’t aim properly, I’ll be pulling turtle chunks out of the attic….

It is not good idea... It was a joke... it will piss the turtle off.. best suggestion is call wildlife if turtle is too big for you to pick up. Unless you can use shovel and slide it under the turtle and carefully move to somewhere safe for turtle.

Don’t worry, I’m a big softy when it comes to animals. As comical as it would be to try to launch it with an airbag, I don’t actually want to hurt it. The main issue I have is it’s location in the window well doesn’t leave me much room to maneuver around it. I might actually see if I can get it step up on some plywood and try craning it out of there? If I can get it on to the platform and use a few ropes or something to lift it out while trying to keep it level and aimed away from me

All of this is dependent on what animal control can or can’t do for me though

plywood works.. make sure turtle doesn't run off of the edge of plywood while you move it to somewhere safe.

If I could get it out of the window well, then I think I would have more options. I have enough scraps that I could build it a little crate and take it across the street to live with all the snakes I carry over there…
I think the turtle probably wants out too, but he doesn’t seem to want to listen to reason.
