Hello. Want to get an ARB safari snorkle. Can someone with an ARB snorkle do a measurement from ground to the very tip? I just need to know the height of the snorkel installed with about 2.5-3in lift up front and 285s. I have ICON coilovers to about < 3" or so.

Garage door height is at 81".

Just want to make sure I can clear my garage door before committing to buying it and not be able to get inside garage.

    Thank you.

Lol, a worthy inquiry. Anything to keep that frame in the garage as often and long as possible. That would suck to get it installed and find out you can't get it into to garage.
On my 80 series cruiser the snorkel rides at the same height as the peak height of the cruiser body itself.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Wouldn't it help you more for someone to measure from the roof height to the top height?

I guess your right. Looking at these pics of mine...cant be more than 3". If anything....it looks like the roofline is higher.

I just RE-looked. No more than 1.5. I'm on 33 X12.5 MTRs, icons set a 2.5 w/700# springs, it's 25 degress outside and my tire pressure is at 26 psi.

If they are...theyve come down quite a bit. I payed close to $400 a couple years ago.

I wonder how hard it would be to build a box for a turbo kit filter for a snorkel

Do you still need measurements? I can do it in the morning for ya.

Also if you're looking for a cheaper alternative rather than the arb snorkel, you can get the hilex snorkel off of Amazon for about $160. There's a page on Tacoma world of a guy installing it his 1st gen but the only problem with it is the fitting along the fender... very minor and not that noticeable.

Just did measurements. 71.5" from the tip of the snorkel to the ground but overall my rear sits at 73".

This is with a 3" lift on 32's and for the rear I have aal and 1.5" shackles.
