    Thats a good idea.. should keep most of the bugs from getting into the snorkel, and might help with rain/snow too. I wonder what the mpg difference is with it compared to with out it. Looks like it wont let as much air in.

    i am definitely interested in seeing the cai hooked up, and what that will do for performance and mpg.

    This is the same mesh I currently use on my grill & bumper. I saw no change in coolant temp on my scanguage II, so this mesh does not affect the airflow...
    I know it looks that way though.

    I'm gonna run my next tank of gas with it facing backwards cause some of the TTORA guys were saying that too much cold air in winter actually hurts MPG's. Couldn't hurt anything so Ill see what happens.

    procrastination, not having proper cutting tools, and shool kinda get in the way :rolleyes: haahaha excuses excuses I know.

    I'll test that too.. once i finally need to fill up again.. been since last monday. I'm at 285 miles on a little more than a 1/4 tank. My "before" test at this driving style (55mph cruise control) got me 302 miles on 15.7 gallons, but I think I've had a little more around town on this tank than I did on that one.

    No need to buy anything to mount the snorkel. Just cut the tip off of the stock intake and walla everything fits.
