Your truck looks pretty clean as it sits if anything I’d get a matching rear bumper. Snorkels imho look weird if you don’t have a Roofrack to offset it. Plus they are damage multipliers.:anonymous:

Airflow is another brand and option for a snorkel for our trucks. I picked mine up a few years ago through a group buy on here. Anyhow airflow used to be cheaper than the ARB option and wasn’t as bulky. Dobinson wasn’t available at the time.

Go for it! Snorkels will actually get used far more to get cleaner air into your engine that for keeping water out ... besides, just adding a snorkel to your Tacoma doesn't make the rest of your engine bay ready to handle deep water.

Great pic! Mind if I use it for an outro image on Youtube?

Add this pre cleaner to the snorkel. It's amazing how much dirt and bugs are trapped in it before it reaches the air filter.

If you want it, go for it. It seems like you do but you’re worried about someone talking shit. Guarantee someone at some point will, but have to ignore them.

Don't worry about approvals from TW members otherwise you'll be buying UCA'S that have had more machining than the average wheel just to crawl a mall. Unless they know you personally TW members will keep their opinions to themselves in person so... do what YOU like.

This is the day and age of posers, just look at all of the wheels available today with fake bead locks- it's damn near impossible to find wheels without fake bead locks. Want to be more popular on TW, throw something off a TRD on a non TRD - anything, even a sticker qualifies.

Love the looks and questions I get from mine!

Best question so far: "is that an exhaust for your truck??" To which I replied, "yep! Have a nice day!!"

I had my Airflow snorkel before I did my lift, armor and roof rack. Lots of weird questions and comments but IDGAF! Now that my truck is modified it looks like it belongs and it’s no longer the highest part.

Raised air intake is meant for pulling cleaner air from up high. Thats it’s intended purpose.

Any water avoidance is a secondary benefit.

The snorkel gets a ton of looks and questions. People always ask if I go underwater and I ask them, "only if it clears 35's without cutting!". They laugh unknowingly.
