I want to install a snorkel on my 3rd gen tacoma. Mainly for avoiding inhaling so much dust through the inner fender and the occasional water crossing. The two options I see are safari or dobinson. They look very similar, just wondering if anyone has an opinion on the two. Which one fits best, functions best, and lastly looks best?

    Thanks

I have a dobinsons, I'm happy with it. Fit and finish were much better than expected. So far it's survived the southern California sun since I installed it middle of last year.

I made mine with PVC pipe. None of the ones currently available are tall enough. I used a 10' section of 6" white PVC pipe. I should be able to drive underwater now like aquaman.

The difference between them is more the price than anything else.

They do help a lot though with dust intake and keeping your air filter clean.
