    This is pretty cool. I've never seen this idea implemented in a street vehicle. I know trophy trucks use similar technology with air intakes mounted in the cab area.

    Sorry for the thread revival but have do you have your fender liners in? I think this is a great snorkel alternative especially because I will probably soon be cutting my flares and fenders for more tire clearance and that opens me up I snorkel, this or custom liner

    This is why I am doing this mod. Sole reason removed my liners to cut fenders and flares. Drove in the rain the day after and was paranoid the entire time. lol

    This is the right answer. Snorkles get your air intake (hopefully) above the dust clouds. They are appropriate in hot, dry places such as the American South West and Australia. Think Tatooine, not Dagobah.
