No issue with my Airaid. Five years running. It's much smaller next to the ARB's. SCS_Nov21_2.jpg

I promised myself not to get a snorkel - gimmicky, overkill, unattractive, etc. 2 years later and after a few trips to Mojave and Death Valley, I understand the benefits of having more air coming in and having the intake up and away from the fender/wheel well. I installed the ARB Safari and breather kit this past weekend. I drove about 500 miles since the install and noticed more responsive acceleration in the same gear (manual); avg gas mileage is a bit better, and no additional noise from the large/massive appendage.

Very easy install. However, the 13 plastic screws holding the fender; nearly impossible to pull them out slightly to get a grip to try to remove. Easily 50% of the total time of the install. I rate it 2 shots of whisko on my scale of dealing with life.

For the Sy-Klone pre filter. It’s round and the Airaid is oval. @codyjphoto uses one
