    Hi everyone,

I recently discovered just how stiff the factory mud flaps are while looking at some tacomas at a dealership albeit they didnt have much I think maybe 2-3 tops.

But my question is with the mud flaps being so stiff if driving in deep snow will they prove to be more.of a hassle than they are worth and if so what do you all recommend for side and running board protection?
I am contemplating rock rails at some point but would that be enough?
Also looking at bilstein 5100 shocks to go with the factory springs for about a.2-2.5" lift max in front and level the back and then some bigger tires but without having to do any cutting.

    Sorry this is so long,
Any and all suggestions, opinions, recommendations, and things to be aware of are welcome.
