It did GREAT! I only put the chains on the two rear tires. I never once felt like I was going to get stuck. I just leaned on the skinny pedal and it would push thru like a champ. I was able to come to a complete stop on a steep icy hill and keep going with no problem. The only part I thought I was going to get stuck was where the picture above was taken. I parked in virgin snow. I was able to get out by leaning on the gas. Even my dad and brother were surprised with how well my truck did. They were both in 4x4 vehicles. I started off the day skeptical and ended with confidence. Just make sure you get durable chains that can handle the wheel spin. I think if I had cables, I would have destroyed them.

Actually, one of the fastest ways to nuke a set of chains is to run them on Pavement any more then you absolutely have to! In snow or on ice, they are needed, but once the road is more or less cleared, stop and take them off!

The bed was empty. I do not have ATRAC and my LSD is mechanical so it's a bit different from yours.

If you want to see capable then you should check out @Dangerousd1987 build thread. His truck is the one that sparked the confidence in my 2wd. Prerunners are way more capable than people make them out to be. There's also a blue prerunner on youtube from Florida that really gets the job done. Look up white horse's youtube channel and you'll see it there.

Maybe I missed it, but what brand/where did you get those chains?

The chains are SCC from 4 wheel parts. They were the only ones that had chains in stock with the short notice that I had. I abused the chains pretty good and they held up great.
