    AWD for the convenience and knowing that not everyone knows how to properly use 4x4 (hi, low, crawl, trac off, etc etc) We live in the midwest and usually only get one or 2 good snows a year so i've never considered getting snow tires for my tacoma, but my wifes prius has Blizzaks, and its a trooper in snow and ice! Last winter i didn't plow the driveway yet, we had maybe 12-13 inches of fluff dry powder and her prius pushed the snow like a plow to the curb lol

    That's just it. My wife forgets to turn on 4wd and the intuition for when it should be on just isn't there. AWD is basically impossible to mess up. We are all hills around here and forgetting to engage 4wd can put you in a tailspin really quickly.
