I've had twenty years or more plowing my half mile dirt road with a Taco I and II. No issues, but I did not plow at professional speeds, took it easy, 2nd 4wd low range speed. I would not use it to plow commercially. All my Taco's carry 300 pounds of gravel bags over the rear axle under the cap which really helps in 2wd on partly plowed icy snowy roads whether or not I have a plow on.

I haven't had any issues using my Snowsport with the front or rear receiver, but then again I'm only doing my driveway.

Same here. A few key notes....
    1. Snoway 22r down pressure about 280#
    2. Mount height needs to be around 10-11" above ground (tires and lift could alter)
    3. Snoway 7'6" was recommended as angling the blade will plow full Taco path (glad they told me that as I was looking at smaller width to save a few #'s)
    4. No weight in back but only do my own driveway. Full tank of gas. I would recommend 100-200#'s as stopping at lights might be front heavy
    5. Stacks snow nicely
    6. Wireless remote so no controls to mount inside
    7. Cost around $5k. I got cash and carry deal for $4200 and mounted with grade 8 bolts, one drilled hole and never-seize.
    8. EZ on-off and I built a rear jack (HF jack and aluminum plate and used snowmobile dollies for blade to move in garage once off truck. Ask and I'll post pics.

Is it worth it? Probably not $$$-wise but Im more carefull with property than hiring. Upsate NY after they plow street can be 3-4 feet of hard pack snow. Hard to blast thru that...

You and I my friend have something in common we love Toyotas and Kiotis best equipment money can buy IMO. My Kioti is a 2013 CK30 HSt with only 125 hours on it and love it.
Here is a pic of me blowing front of house with my new installed factory cab with heat last Winter.

I have a 4WD 33 HP Kubota it will not push any real snow with the plow angled it will push the tractor front end sideways. I used it for years dressed in full snow mobile gear in reverse with the blower it sucks. I still use it every so often with the 60" snow blower to open the road a little bit more My road is over a 1/4 mile long. If you want to beat your Tacoma up with a plow on it drive in high range at about 15-20 mph or you can take your time in low range in a nice warm truck just push the snow don't try to put it in your neighbors yard. I have a Fisher plow on the Tacoma I haven't broken any thing plowing my dirt driveway.

I got a John Deere 2025R, which is 4wd. I just use the bucket, not ideal, but works in moving snow. In addition, I have the Hybrid tire, it is not turf or R4, but almost like a knobby "V" pattern. It will need chains eventually for my hilly driveway.

That's a legit machine. Depending on your driveway configuration and where you have to put snow, I'd put a snow pusher on that thing and some weight/ballast on the back and go for it.
