I have a 2021 Tacoma and love it. Only problem I’ve had is after a heavy snow if I don’t remove the snow from the roof the first time I touch the breaks while driving everything on the roof slides into the windshield and completely blocks my view. Has anyone else had this happen and does anyone have any suggestions to prevent this in the future. (Other than removing snow on the roof or moving to a warmer climate ). TIA

Yup. Happens with the second gen also. Get a long snow scraper.

Put up a roof rack or ....... remove the damn snow like a responsible adult. It takes like 30 seconds. If you don't, it blows on the person behind you possibly blinding them. Don't be an asshole

I’ve had this happen on almost every vehicle I’ve owned, I don’t think it’s Tacoma thing.
You should be cleaning it off anyways, as it’ll lift off and bang the vehicle behind you.

Clear the snow off your roof. It's a serious hazard anyways. Takes 2 seconds to clear the snow with a snow broom.

uhh.. this is a thing on cars. which is why youre suppose to brush it off. when youre driving that snow flying off isnt really helping the people behind you either.

Solution: get up to 88mph and let the flux capacitor kick in

Or just clean the snow off the roof. During heavier snows we always clean the vehicles sporadically. That way it’s manageable when you’re set to go out.

I do not miss shoveling snow

Install a roof heater, it will quickly melt the snow while your windshield defrosts. I haven’t actually seen one for sale, so you may need to get creative

I hate snow on the roof people almost as much as I hate people who leave the shopping cart in the parking lot. Both should be arrested and tazed and pepper sprayed.
