Well... the worst stuff hasn't even hit us yet, and I just measured 14 inches of snow on the porch. I spoke to a state snow plow driver and he says they are being told 24-30 inches..... HELL YEAH!!!! by the way i'm in the middle of the state, near Fredereick.

We got over 20" today in Alexandria, and it's still falling....feels like being home in New England!

I was out all day (sledding and just enjoying myself in the snow after two years in the south) and the Tacoma did great. 4 Hi was all I needed to get around. Using a tow strap in 4 Lo I pulled 5 cars and a box truck out of drifts/ up hills and the truck barely breathed hard.

BTW, all of my concerns about the new Auto-LSD are gone. I did some donuts in a parking lot and it was just as much fun as it is with a mechanical one :)

Well, we ended up with about 16" here. It was nice, but we haven't had power since Friday afternoon. I took the truck over to a mall parking lot to see what it'd do yesterday. I was really impressed. I couldn't even get the thing sliding sideways. One of those traction controls would kick in, start beeping, and straighten me up. Even this morning on the hard ice (it got down to 14 last night), it harldy slid. I love my Tacoma!

Want to have real fun, put it in 2hi and disable the VSC. That's when it gets fun!

I should have done that, just didn't have a lot of time. :( I haven't learned all these traction devices yet. I'm sure they still haven't scrapped the parking lot yet, so how do you turn off the VSC? I may go over there after I get off work and try it out. Did you get a lot of snow in Salisbury?
