Lol this snow trip broke Steve's (my stepdad) will to live. Haha. The guy has always had Jeeps, and wants another one now.

He is contemplating selling his truck because of 1 snow trip. Hahahahahahaha

Yeah, Im upset I didn't go... I thought about it but then other plans came up. Then those plans fell through and I sat all day with my thumb up my ass.

Ive never done any trails like that either seeing as how Ive only owned my truck for about a month now but I am itching to go now! So lets plan another trip! Sucks it wont be in the snow but meh.... another time.

Well, seeing as there's probably going to be snow on the upper trails for the next MONTH, there's still time. But one thing I've learned is that you make sure someone with a winch is going...at least when Steven's going.

    Nice!!! Easy to get hooked.
I have a Tundra as well and it's suprisingly capable for it's size. I've got billys all the way around on my Tundra. Tell him with a little bit of hammering and a little bit of grinding, and you can run 305's :D

Bilstein 5100's set at 2.5 up front.
5100's in the rear with a AAL.
305x65x17 Pro Comps wrapped around Dick Cepek DC1's (17x9 with 4.53" BS). The trick to fit 305's on the Tundra is a 4.5" BS. Anything more and you'll rub the UCA, anything less and your cutting the hell out of the pinchweld.

I opted for the AAL cause this is my tow rig. It's a little stiffer ride than doing a block, but I dont mind. I have the daystar AAL, but a AAL is a AAL. Doesn't really matter who makes it.

Toytec sells the whole shebang for $460. TW discount code brings it down to $435ish. Toytech shipping sucks though.
Have your buddy call DSM. I think they might be able to beat the price.

My wife and I once traveled from Auburn (back when we lived there) to Tahoe and experienced sunny skies, rain, fog, hail, lightning, and snow (in that order). That was a scary trip traveling through the hail worried about it damaging the vehicle and having lightning coming down all around us at the same time! Only in Calif...
