    From Sac you looking at about a 4hr to the trail head. I was considering it but my concern is the snow and ice. Don't feel like driving all the way there to only get turned around half way or deal with ice going uphill, on granite. I will keep tabs on your M.E.T trip. I may join but will have a better idea next week.
