:cookiemonster: Been out a few times this season in the snow, they just started grooming the sled trails so now I am a bit more limited where I can get out to.

I do lots of trail clearing when the snow starts. Where I use the trails most guys only use utv's, 4wheelers and sleds. Generally they dont care to stop and move or remove tree's.

Its so easy for me to carry everything required to solo move large tree's now that I have a winch and retention pulley.

I actually enjoy spending time out in the woods just cutting and moving crap now, living in the city has really made me appreciate some simpler things.

375/65-16” on the back. I’m picking up the other two tomorrow, for the front end, I’ve also got ADV fibreglass front fenders coming for it. And I’ll get at cutting to fit them. Can’t wait to get into the snow.

So the access road we use to get to our trails is an unmaintained access road. Sections of it get groomed and link a very long snow machine trail in our area. As it is unmaintained most people can not use it in the winter. It never stops being a road how ever.

This tends to go over the snow machine riders heads some how and indicate to them that they can ride down the middle of a road. Which most of them do. Way to fast.

I decided that the sand dune flag I got would go to good use for this exact situation.

    Nope!

Must have a trailer, insurance for the sled and trailer, gear to ride in -30C, trail pass. Somewhere to park the truck and trailer while out on the trails.

    Snow machines are a PITA.

My truck tho, bad ass. Takes me to the trails, on the trails and home from them. In warmth and comfort.

I ride a motorcycle so I understand what snow machines are about, and I have been on them. Just not my cup of tea.

I get it, I have a bike too, a TW200 that’s fun on the snowy trails. Just not willing to torture my truck the way I used to back in the 80s etc...but it’s all good. Stay safe, Happy New Year!

That's not really the measurement to take though. You do see some width but the length of the footprint is the improvement, which, of course, is difficult to measure in snow.:santa2:

I will say 2 psi?

Actually, both length and width matter, as what matters is surface area. More Square inches, less ground surface pressure.

And PSI wise, Jamie's actually run with 0, just to see how it does. The tires aren't that fond of it.

I often run my Cooper S/T Maxx 255/80/17's at 8 PSI front / 6 PSI rear for snow wheeling all day. Only issue I sometimes get from this is ice in the bead that can cause air leaks.

Some more nonsense I have been up to :cookiemonster:

Oh yeah, very light and fluffy. Probably will take several days for the truck to fully thaw out :D
