And that in a nutshell is it, you just make it work, because what you value in life has nothing to do with a 401k, net worths, property values, etc.

When I first moved to town, I could barely afford 1 day a week pass at $450, it was tough, so I hiked up to the top where they did not scan passes and made it happen, sure as heck beat living in a suburb wishing I was elsewhere.

When I am lying in my death bed at some ripe old age, I am not going to be thinking about how much is in the bank for my family, I am going to think about my best snowboard run, my first kiss or one of several hundred mountains I have climbed.

You can't take it with you man, the economic crash proved it is not worth crap anyway, it's all fake and they have you convinced otherwise.

So if I had to pay $1,800 for a full pass, I woul beg, steal or borrow to do so, because that my friend, is what life is all about, living.

yeah. i agree. thats what live is all about. living! i now i have done some stuff my parents don’t know about. but i had fun! i will try just about anything once maybe twice. and when i’m on my death bed i’ll be thinking about those somethings.

i have had people tell me. about stuff they have done that was “them being a rebel” but it was so stupid stuff like shooting a gun or fire works. i have been shot with fire works 3 times. been shot with paint balls. i know some people that would never think about doing that stuff. or think about snowboarding because they are worried they are going to get hurt. i once talked to a girl that said i would have to stop riding dirt bikes and 4wheelers to date her. i told her to F**k off. i love that stuff and will be riding it till the day i die. "you only live once so take risks you no madder what the cast may be” thats one of my moto’s i love when mom asks “what if all you’r friends jumped off a bridge” i all ways say. how high it the bridge?. lol it makes her mad.

A country music star blasted on drugs fired shot gun blasts over the top of my truck while I was trying to crash a party at Hunter Thompson's pad...

I tried and succeeded in not getting busted for climbing a 1,500 foot radio tower near Hutchinson Kansas..

I had a crampon break on the Kautz Ice chute on Mt. Rainier, guide asked if I wanted to bail, I said hell no and made the summit...

When shooting an article for a magazine, I got shot at 20 feet with two bottle rockets, the third hit my iPhone....

I almost passed out in the back seat of a T/F-18 because I did not secure my "Speed Jeans" correctly...

I got pissed at a girlfriend who was too controlling and ripped a 3,000 foot line down a side county aspect behind Snowmass as a matter of spite...with no beacon, no phone, no partner, blasting Metallica.

One day the book is going to be good, bring on the Pow and ride for our lost friend "Raddam", RIP, 3/31/11...
