Voile Freeride 173, I normally ride a 162 but for skinning and backcountry, I like the length. I got it on clearance from REI Denver for $450 with the skins brand new in 06.

I am looking for a used 152-162 for my wife, if I can't find a complete board, we are gonna saw one in half and do the kit, it's not that hard, you just have to be sure of what binding position you want due to it being a one shot deal, LOL!

Thats the problem with me making my own splitboard, I change my binding position like I change my underware if not more often. Since I only have 2 boards I set up diferent configs for diferent stuff. When I get another board my oldest one will likely be chosen for splitting

talk to your local board shop employee they will be more than glad to help you ....the first video shows you how to wax, scrape and buff your board
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9z6CvFfKoVM&feature=related
this video will mostly likely distract you from your goal and you may cause board damage if watched while tuning your board:D......enjy:D
