Yeah, after looking at tons of goggles for a half hour, he finally showed me those.. looked through the lens and said yep, ill take those. Just the color and lens shade are perfect and sold me. The John Jackson ones are SWEET. Check those out.

They are supposedly between the eg2's and eg2.5's.. but I think thy are just like the 2's

probably around a 150-152 would be good...look into lib techs and other manufacturers who have the magnatraction as it will help with the icier conditions...camber would be preferred as the reverse camber will not be a big gain for your in the NE..

then next board i'd go up to 152-155...as you get better

^ that is a good thought to keep in mind too

also, make sure the boots are snug on you...a lot of people have bad experiences due to the wrong boot fitment...you don't want your foot to move around inside the boot, but you don't want it to cut off circulation also...

i wear size 10.5 shoes, but i wear size 8.5 snowboard boots...the inside of the boot will pack out and the first few days with the tight boots will pay off in the end when your boot is still snug on your foot years down the line...

x2 on the boots. i actually think that my boots might be a little too big now that they are broken in. i just have to tie them really tight.

i was using a friend's boots, they fit me just fine.. kind of hard to get on and off.. but i didnt cut off circulation and my foot didnt move around.. so i guess il stick with that size (9), its something ive always wanted to get into just never been around a place with snow... im just gonna save a bit to see what kind of board i like
