Ya boxes are awesome to dial in tricks on, that is kind of the problem i was talking about, not very many ride on and easy boxes, so beginners and average people looking to learn new tricks only have a few choices to practice on.

Im working on learning FS BS on the pipes and easy street style rails and 180s in and out.

anybody watch snowboard slopestyle finals today? I thought mark mcmorris killedddd it. I didnt see his last run but that first one was clean. I saw he got a 98 on his final so that must have been an awesome run. Parrot and Smits had clean runs too. It was great watching everyones first two runs.

Its crazy thinking that im older than some of those guys now haha. I remember back when I was younger being like that is so awesome they are so young and sooo sick now im like shit i suck hahaha

Ive also got electric eg2 i love the big frame, doesnt restrict my vision at all. At night I use a clear lens and during the day i use the stock bronze lens. The bronze isnt bad at night either. I guess it depends on how well lit the trails are.

I ended up getting the 2012 Lib Tech Skate Banana. Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I love the way the board feels. It's so much more forgiving on landings than my Burton Canyon was.

I have been snowboarding probably 15 times or so total, yet I still can't really "carve" or ride toeside comfortably. A buddy of mine just told me he took an hour lesson recently and it was extremely helpful. I am wondering what are your thoughts on a lesson/instructor. Maybe just for a few hours. Would it help? Thanks

Took a lesson my first time about 18 years ago and still remember the fundamentals. I say go for it. It won't hurt.

Besides lessons can help you break bad habits, otherwise you keep reinforcing them.
