Title (alternate ending) should read something more like" Armed Dumbass on snowmobile trampled to an agonizing death by Moose", that would make me happy.

New ones do, mine does not but it's pretty easy to dip into the trees and go around unless he's one of those trail riders who isn't competant on a sled which by seeing how he handled that situation wouldn't suprise me

I wish this were true hahaha

Some douche bag looking get get his rocks off by killing something... Could have easily been avoided. Must have been in a huge hurry to get around the moose. Couldn't just let it be for a minute or two until it moved on. What a dick. Shouldn't have driven so close in the first place and started yelling earlier or dusted a shot off to scare it if it wouldn't move. Pretty scary though when that thing was almost on top of him! That would have been a good time to have his gun out of his jacket

That moose looked pretty small, was probably juvenile and hadn't encountered people if ever. The guy is totally challenging the moose whether he knew it or not. Yelling, creeping forward when it would back away and yelling more. Of course right when the moose walks away he starts moving forwards, yelling and fires a shot. The moose probably thought "shit it's him or me ,better rush this asshole".

And why the heck do you need to carry a pistol around when you're snowmobiling? I've been riding and wheeling and hiking in the back woods since I was a little kid, we never needed to carry guns for "self-defence" if it comes down to that you've already proven you shouldn't be in the back woods, like this guys proving. Respect nature, give them space, we are the intruders.

Only time we carry guns is when we plan on bringing something home to eat. It's a tool not a weapon.

I like how the general concensus is that this guys in the wrong, it's good to know most of us are responsible when it comes to life in the outdoors. It's hard enough keeping trails open as it is.

I live in Montana and have had allot of moose encounters and it appears that this guy is out of line. Yes, it would have been scary when the moose charged, but unless the guy was seriously injured from that I think he did everything wrong, and should be held accountable for his actions. If its online, I would assume that FWP or the DNRC are on this.

Dick. He could have just creeped up on that moose while it was walking away, give it a little slap ass and haul ass outta there. No need to shoot an defenseless animal.
