So, do you carry FMJs to avoid the prosecution's argument of "dum dum" hollowpoint mankillers? I don't see a difference there. Again, this argument should be crushed pretty easily, unless you're grossly over-compensating perhaps with a 33-round factory Glock mags or are waxing mercury into your hollowpoints or something. I don't take Ayoob as bible truth but I think he makes a good point when he discusses the comparison to a local street cop's gear as justification for what you carry. I know he's used the argument several times as an expert witness to completely dismiss claims of excessive force in shootings. If Lindsey had 3 1911 mags on him he had fewer rounds on his person than a street cop would in his first two Glock/HK/M&P mags.

I carry a j-frame in my pocket 90% of the time (there's one there now) but I also have a Glock 19 with 3 full mags as backup in my EDC bag. I have no concerns of an over-prepared argument.

I'd think it wouldn't matter much what snub revolver you buy, as long as it's lightweight, small, and powerful enough. You're not going to shoot it much, and
    accuracy is a moot point.

Rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6. More rounds = more options. And if I have the chance to safely take a 75yard shot at someone that is a clear and present danger, then I will. Average person can't do that with a snubby, Rmodel's video not withstanding.

Got the Ruger LCR for the better half to carry in her purse and find it to shoot surprisingly well for a 2-1/8" barrel.

I just scored the S&W Bodyguard .38 +P for the Mrs...she liked the grip better than the LCR...didn't like the +P ammo much though...I'm going to have to find her some nasty regular .38 loads for regular carry....

I've been looking at the same gun, with the 3" barrel... When you get to try it out, let us know how you like it!

Finally got a chance to run a few rounds through my little BG.380. I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of this little pocket pistol.

My wife carries the Kel Tec .380 and I prefer to carry one of my 1911`s or the Springfield XD, when I want to carry a little pocket pistol I go with the Kel Tec PF9

Ditched a S&W 640 38+P (was my Backup gun as a cop) and a Kel Tec P3AT(never trusted that gun) for the Bodyguard .380. Great little pocket gun for a reasonable price.

Just shot my new Kahr P40 last weekend. I went with the P instead of the PM because i liked a little more grip on it. The thing shoots like a dream. Love it already. Very first time i picked it up I had very nice groupings. I cant say the same for the Ruger LC9 I had. Never could get consistent with that thing. I havnt carried yet but, as soon as i get my permit I will.

I want to get a double action LCR revolver by Ruger, it can hold 357, and 38 and it is supposed to have good recoil. For me I am not much into altering my gun, so when I get the gun, I would like it to fit nicely in my hand, and shoot well as is. I am also in the market for a small semi-automatic (if I'm not mistaken that would be like the Smith and Wesson MP gun, something like that). I though prefer the revolver for concealed carry because it is just practical and reliable, and simple to use. I have carpal tunnel so carry anything that needs to use a lot of wrist use, is not exactly what I want. Though I do want to have a Glock 19 at some point for competition shooting, once I can find my way into the competition arena.
