IMG_0083.jpg IMG_7356.jpg Just sharing my thoughts on our camper shell choice. We went with the snugtop rebel with sliding windoor upgrade. Very pleased with the quality of the shell. The locks match, fit is great. Seals are really high quality so no leaks. As the shell is set up it cost $2300 out the door here in central coast California. Next up will be adding a roof rack system. Maybe a rhino rack. If anyone has things to say about there rack choice I am all ears.

Your truck looks great. Do it right and go with a prinsu rack.

Ya. Those bird spikes are ok. Been there for years. Put em up to protect our 1966 fastback. The birds just do fly by drops now.... need a bigger garage I guess.

Locks match? Do you mean the key for the tailgate works for the shell as well?

    This is what kills me.

After having all our crap covered in an inch of dust and sand, we are going to get a topper, but cost..

The locks match on snugtop. The leers have different keys for side windows and the back window. Just a little info if you didn't know. Dam those prinsu racks look awesome. I'm gonna go for it!

    Sadly, not much.
Just reviving an old post. I purchased a snugtop Rebel used for $1500 and am having one windoor installed for … $400.

I have had two trucks though and have always wanted a windoor. Figured the money I saved by snagging a used one justifies the egregious cost.

I am adding a windoor with slider to the drivers side and keeping the 50/50 slider on passenger.
Also, added a frontrunner track system with two load bars to the canopy. Very happy so far.
