Trying to plan something on the 25th with my coworker who had a tundra. Nothing intense, just a quick day trip somewhere.

Got that Saturday and Sunday off for San G, but since that’s cancelled I might be down for a day trip somewhere

Sometimes I get mondays off, although I don’t know that far in advance, text me when you guys figure something out
I’m debating on going. My favorite thing about San G is the giant crowd and how easy it is to drift from site to site to say hi to so many different people I haven’t seen in a while. With that gone so is my interest

*does my sporadic pop in to bring life to this thread*
OC friends I was rear ended and the dipshit dipped. Cracked my left tail light and scratched my bumper/pushed it in like an inch on the left side (tow-hitch took most of the damage lol). Gooood new is I briefly chased him and got his plates before he started running reds and speeding 80 up beach to get away from me hahahah
    BUT
My insurance gave me $442 to get my car fixed (deductible was $500) ??? Idk confused the hell out of me. So here's where I need help bc im just a dumb yung girl

I'm obviously gonna take my car in and make sure my frame is okay (last time I got rear ended the lady that hit me ended up buckling my frame) and get a few quotes - but if it's cheaper to just buy a new light and buff out the scratch can I just do that and pocket the cash? Or are they gonna ask for an invoice?? I am lost and need advice hahaha. My driving record is so clean and the last time I got rear ended everything was handled properly, but since this is a hit and run everything seems confusing as hell.

I’d for sure take the truck in to ensure the frame is still straight.
If you’re ok with the minor (?) bumper damage, you could just get a new tail light and pocket the rest.

You could also go to the local PD and file a report with them, telling hit and run but you got the plates. Any photo evidence of the other car? Dash cam?

In other news, I’ll be doing a day trip in Ocotillo this Monday! 10/10

Meet Pechanga Casino 8-8:30 and then spend however long in the park.

so far it’s only me and two coworkers
    - LT 2nd gen on 35’s and 2wd (me)
    - stock 2022 Tundra with 33”s
    - 3rd gen a taco with a solid mid travel kit and 33s

so a wide range of drivers and vehicles haha. Anyone is welcome.
