I'm going to splurge and get a room at Desert Ironwoods again. Best decision I ever made. Nothing better than a shower, AC, and clean sheets after a long day/night of wheeling.

They are looking to do off road driving prerunner stuff. Hungry valley is more off roading as in 4x4 needed. I don't think they are doing Hungry Valley. But if you want we could set up a run there. Nothing there is too tough. Miller Jeep trail is pretty easy but you do need at least 4wd.

Sup Dave, I'm actually thinking that I go the route of Matt ( the traveler ) and probably get a room. 475 miles behind the wheel and the last thing I want is to sleep on the ground. And no, still no relentless bumper. Hopefully in a couple months. On a side note, I'm probably gonna sell my deaver j66 10 pack leaf springs ( only 8000 miles) at the end of this year. Great for all u dessert guys. So where are we wheeling?

Mid travel, meaning coilovers and UCA's, will do you just fine out in Ocotillo. Just stay out of the whoops and jumps at speed, your truck will handle the rest of it like a dream.

Hahaha I have expos and 16" King triple bypasses with super bumps. Take out 3 leafs, it makes a huge difference.

    Lots...see build
I won't be doing any pre-running. I'll meet in Ocotillo, might camp there, but I'll be exploring a bit of the more 4wd areas, if that changes anyone's mind. Nothing super technical, but that's my plan.

I pulled a few progressively, I think it was second to bottom, skip one, remove, skip one, remove.

No our expo pack had 10 leafs, so I still have 7 more. I forgot which ones I pulled, it was a while ago. Lol

so Alex as far as the grub goes...unless you like cactus or the occasional desert coyote...you gotta pack in a shit ton of food if you're gonna be camping/wheeling. There isn't much out there except for a liquor store or two.

What's the plan??? Are you crazy dudes wheeling Hungry Valley on the way down? Are you driving straight to Ocotillo? Are you skipping the above and going straight to the strip clubs????

I'm curious as well. Got a few people interested in a Gorman trip either that sat or Sunday if there's a group going

Most of the guys going with us norcal dudes are 4x4 and a few prerunner. I wouldn't mind going to just gorman. Seems like that place has a lot of fun trails for the 4x4 guys and for the prerunners it looks like we get our area to hit some high speed stuff that's limited but yet fun. We prerunner fellas can always hop in a 4x4 when you guys wanna do the more technical trails:D That way we get the best of both worlds. Can't go wrong with that:cool: just don't see us having enough time for both places. Glen John nick scotty you guys cool with gorman, they got fun trails for you guys there:D
