There's this one lake here in CA somewhere, can't remember the name right now, but it's gone from a huge lake to a tiny creek.

yeah, at Cachuma, you have to walk down twice as many steps now to get to the boat dock. They said it was the lowest water level they've had there since the 70's.

Really? I was thinking about getting the dakars but I've been hearing people talk a lot about the allpros and saying good things.

there was nothing wrong with the dakars. I originally got them because i use my taco as a tow rig a few times a year and thought i would need the extra spring rate so I could haul my toy box/ dirtbikes. but the other 358 days out of the year, with no weight in the bed, they are just too stiff. bought myself the allpro's as a bday present to myself, and so far they are much better for a daily driver, but this weekend will be their true test.

with 3-500lbs in the bed, the dakars were beautiful and rode great, but those circumstances were far and few between so I've decided to try something different.

I'm only 5100's all around. Stock coils, stock UCAs and stock leafs.

Agh, yeah that's what I've been hearing. I seldom have that much weight in the rear...maybe I'll look into the allpros.
