Not that you're going to take any stock in something a random stranger says i'll bestow this knowledge on to you.

From what you said, I was in the EXACT same situation. She told me the EXACT same things (oh im stressed at school, i feel different about you and people, youre annoying me for some reason).

Heres what ended up happening, we took a break for a week, got back together, had all these amazing ideas on how our releationship would be. Long story short, it didn't work out, I continued a relationship for another year after that absolutely ruining my life by trying to make it work.

I will leave you with this, FLY YOU FOOL!

    1) realize she may not be the one
    2) take your own advice, however don't talk to her until she decides to approach you. If its meant to be she will come around. Chances are you gave in to her too easy.
    3) don't let your life circle around a girl. Live your own life

I really hope that she isn't hooking up with other guys, doesn't seem like the type to but hell I am not there to see her at those parties... We're both in college. I broke down in front of her and she said she hated seeing me like that, and she gave me a hug while I was just broken down... I later pulled myself together and left her room without looking at her and saying bye softly...

I hope that she comes around and misses me like hell this week, seeing that I won't be talking to her or be there for her this week.

breaks don't usually work OP. Its just another way of saying "I want to break up with you but I dont want to be that upfront about it"
technically, I'm still on a "break" with 3 different girls
6 months isnt long. It's gonna suck but you'll get over it.

Well we're meeting up next Friday to discuss and I will go on from there...

She says she wants me to be in her life as a friend if things don't work out, but I don't know if I can do that so quickly. I told her I wouldn't hate her or not talk to her at all....

What took me by surprise was just how fast things happened to go downhill... in less than a week we went from being happy to a break. I don't get it.

    too damn many
me and my gf started out like that when we were 16 dated for about 5 months then both of our families went to hell in a hand basket, me parents got divorced for the third and final time along with my pops getting moved to the east coast for work. she on the other hand got kicked out by her asshole step dad, and her family is always messed up. we took a break for about 2 weeks had dinner to check up on eachother cause we were friends before we ever dated and now she lives with me 5 years later and i plan on proposing after i get hired to a fire dept. early next year. shit happens bro and if its meant to be it'll work out, and if it doesn't well.... better you find out she can't handle stress now then 10 years later when you got a kid on the way and money is tight.

Exactly! and its also the calibration tool during the wifes time of the month. She starts acting dumb and all I have to do is point to the brick. :D

Well she was special... She made the first move a lot of the time, and so did I. She wasn't afraid.

Since I already said my piece and she's the one who doesn't know whats going on, she needs to decide and make up her mind and then let me know whats up. I already did my job, she needs to do hers. Relationships are 50/50 give and take, so since I did my half, it's time for her to do hers.

I was going to be nice so I didn't mention this in my original post but I think you need to hear it.

You annoy her, she told you that. This means you're to clingy, you give her no space and you probably also appear to be head over heels in love with a girl you've dated for 6 months. You call her all the time, you want to hang out with her all time. Probably ditching your buddies in the process and preferring to hang out with her and her friends.

All of those things annoy the shit out of girls, especially in that age range.

Relax man, be cool. Give her all the space, and more, that she wants. Go do your thing, without her. Have fun. Forget about her, if it's meant to be ... she come crawling back and then you have a decision to make.

Thing is, she said I annoy her, not because we're together, but she said because of my stupid jokes that aren't funny to her, and how I tell her about my free time and what I do, or when I ask her about what she has to do on some day because she is so stressed and she hates it when I ask her that. I don't text her all the time, I don't call her all the time, I have barely really had much time with her lately.
