So guys, how many compliments do you get in a day?

Either me or my truck really suck, or people in Washington are total pricks becase I've yet to get a compliment...and that's the only reason I got the lift, rims, and tires.

when i had my 07 wr blue pearl wrx i got comments everywhere i parked. i would walk out of a store and there would be people just staring at it. not alot of subaru's in Arkansas i guess... but you guys are right, that blue really catches the eye

I have recieved numerous compliments about the BHLM.
In Tucson, I have only seen one other truck with the BHLM.

Very nice truck. Nice and clean and I like the black/white thing ya got goin on. I wish I would have done that when I got mine.

 

I get more compliments about the license plate. I did however make a comment about another guy Tacoma that was way nice than mine. The good thing is that I wasn't in my truck when I said that. LOL.

My compliments are usually people getting in and being like " damn your truck is growing on me". My friends are usually the ones giving the kind words.

 

got only one compliment from my friend's gf. "Wow, that's big!" lol

 

I get compliments all the time from people I know. Especially from girls.

Everytime I'm in public and say I drive a Toyota Tacoma someone always pipes and says the same damn thing "good trucks, they'll last forver". On occasion I get the jap truck shit from some of the local "rednecks" from my school who drive brand new domestics daddy bought with drop bracket lifts and rebel flag rear window decals. I just roll my eyes.

 

I dont get any since i just got it 3 weeks ago and everything is pretty much stock. My other car on the other hand, I get compliments every time I take it out. Took it today to stater bros to get some distilled water and got 2 compliments alone on it, and other people on the road always give me thumbs up and what not.

 

Everyday someone says something about my truck to me or someone on the road will give me the nod or thumbs up. Its fun cause I love my truck too!

I firmly believe it is related to location. While I may get a couple compliments back home from friends, theres easily half a dozen other tacomas lifted on 35's that make mine look like a sandbox toy, sure their parents probably bought it for them but whatever. That's home in Oregon though, here on the Cape, no one lifts except for the Heeps, and most of those guys don't take nearly half as much care as the average person for their truck! Its easy to stand out here, I guess

 

I don't think people really see your truck when you're near it. They're probably looking at you.
