a few yrs ago, I picked up a 2000 Radient Red taco, that was actually pink. Took 2, 4hr sessions of cutting and buffing to bring it back to red. Waxed it every month with meguires yellow carnuba, and it still seemed to start turning pink again so I sold it.

Now, I'm looking for a 2nd gen and just didn't know if the Rad Red is still having the same issue, or which colors, if any, are having issues?

My speedway blue seems to chip from just a stiff breeze, and I'm taking it in next week to figure out why a 3-inch long crack in the paint appeared above the driver's side headlamp (no dent or impact there to cause it).

It's pretty, but the paint seems to be closely related to cake frosting.

Mine gets pelted with rocks from dump trucks all the time. The top of the cab is starting to look a little beat up on mine after less than a year. I have one rock chip on my hood which I did a half hearted attempt to cover and didn't turn out too well. It seems to scratch very easy as well, but it's silver so the scratches don't show quite as badly as a darker color would.

Mine's 6 weeks old and I already have 2 rock chips and 3 spots where mud and bug crap have etched the clear coat. :eek:/

I never had any issues with my Y2K taco in lunar mist metallic.
