Will I have to sell a kidney for to get a CB Antenna mount fabricated?

I would like the mount to go between the tale gate and the rear passenger tail light on a 2016 Tacoma DCSB.

Nothing I've found on the net meet my needs

And I'm not sure how far down the list this would be on your things to do.

I have no problem driving to the shore if need be.

    thanks...

Something like that but closer to the bumper, if possible and theirs is for 2nd gen and it looks like it may be a while for a 3rd gen.

And the only make drivers side with a limited run on passenger side mounts.

Hell a mount that can fit on the bed rails and fit under the factory tano cover with the cover still being operational would be nice.

and thanks for the quick response

Having it up higher like how BAMF makes it makes more sense for a few reasons. You'll get a better signal strength and the antennas whip and move a lot so having it above the truck keeps it from smacking the truck and messing up the metal and/or paint.

I will come up with something that mounts to the bed rails and sits with an overhang so you can still install a tonneau cover or cap. Give me about a week, I need a day or two to draw it, then run a quote on it.

What antenna do you have so I make sure I have the correct hole size for it.

fire stick with the fire ring. The mounting hole needs to be big enough to accept that silly plastic washer with the spacer/lip used to separate the ground plane. Not sure of the size.

I am pretty certain it is 1/2" diameter from what I found on other forums.

I will get you a cost in a couple days. It is 1/2". It'll attached to the cleat rail, universal so you can put it on whatever side you choose. 3/16" thick steel, powder coated in black. Will come with our cleat rail nut and s/s bolt.

Thanks again now you have another item to add to your "hand me your money" page too.

    I bow to you fab-masters!!!!

ETA- Also a 1/16th to 3/32nd inch hole near the antenna hole for a grounding wire may be needed. If not I can drill it my self. I just don't have the resources to bend and cut stuff living in an apartment

    Curious on any updates?

Also in stead of a "new item", how much for 1 vertical bracket fro the Tacoma Bed bars for a '16?

Looks like it would be easier to just modify one of these from a flat to the one needed 45 deg angle.

Cost came back yesterday, bracket only would be $20, included rail nut and hardware is another $15.

Just the bracket would work I have enough rail hardware from the other 2 Tacomas I've owned. I even took the the head board rail from one and the plastic rail caps, rail cleats from both and the 6 lug spare from the other when I traded them in.

So what do you need from my end?
